Equans is looking for a Mobile Electrician to join our team working on our contract with Stoke Schools. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
You will be required to work as part of the in-house Stoke Schools engineering team to deliver all Electrical associated Planned and Reactive works within an Education environment.
What will you deliver?
- Carry out regular planned maintenance on Electrical assets
- Provide lifecycle & defect reports relating to Electrical elements
- Provide regular updates to the helpdesk on the progress of all types of work orders
- Support other engineering disciplines
- Proactive communication with site staff to obtain access permits and progress updates
- Day to day management of Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Responsible for the day to day organisation of the works in order to meet the contractual agreement
- Maintain records appertaining to the PPM schedule
- Operate EQUANS QA procedures and maintain clear and legible records as required
- Be available to attend or manage emergency call-outs and provide written incident reports as required
- Be part of the standby / on call rota for out of hours emergency call outs

Who are we looking for?
- Recognised Electrical Qualification to City & Guilds/NVQ level
- IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- C&G 2391 (desirable)
- Previous FM experience within a PFI environment would be an advantage
- IPAF (MEWP) qualification desirable but not essential
- Full driving licence required
- Approved and formal apprenticeship served in relevant skill area or a minimum of 4 years relevant and practical experience within a similar industry
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety including ISO 9001 & 14,001
- Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/ skill
