Equans is looking for a Small Works Manager to join our team in Westminster, London. This is a full-time role. On offer is a salary banding of £35,000-£42,000, dependent upon skills and experience, company vehicle, bonus and benefits package.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual keen to develop and progress. With an established team around them, the post holder will gain exposure to hard FM, projects, stakeholder management and PFI, as well as qualifications and courses on offer to support them with their career progression. With support, the post holder will manage all small works for the contract ensuring targets are met in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will be driven and eager to learn, and excellent communication. Previous experience within a projects role would be preferred, either assistant project management or project coordination, ideally within the FM industry.
What will you deliver?
- Manage a variety of small works project requests from the in-house helpdesk, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Act as the main contact for mechanical and electrical building services projects, ideally with heritage buildings experience.
- Support the onsite lifecycle and projects team; maintain effective communication with clients and subcontractors.
- Ensure all works are completed on time, within budget, to specification, and in compliance with CDM 2015 and BSA 2022.

Who are you?
- Previous experience within the FM industry would be desirable
- Confident communicator able to liaise with clients, subcontractors, the helpdesk, and project teams.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise workload effectively.
- Flexible and able to work Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with business-driven flexibility.
