Senior Technical Solutions Lead

Equans is looking for a Senior Technical Solutions Lead to join our team  on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The Lifecycle Fund Management team provides strategic oversight of long-term asset investment, managing lifecycle funds, validating asset replacement requirements, forecasting future expenditure, and ensuring contractual obligations are delivered efficiently and sustainably. 

The role holder will drive strategic technical solution development across the entire portfolio, with over £1billion revenue, influencing senior leadership on technical investments and modernisation initiatives. Lead portfolio-wide change initiatives for M&E and building fabric system optimisation, develop strategic partnerships with solution providers, and champion innovation adoption. Provide strategic technical leadership to influence lifecycle optimisation decisions whilst driving standardisation and best practice adoption.

This role can be based from any UK location with some additional travel

What will you deliver?

Strategic Direction

• Drive strategic technical solution development across the entire portfolio
• Influence senior leadership and stakeholders on technical solution investments and strategic direction
• Interface with board-level stakeholders on technical solution strategy and investment priorities
• Provide strategic technical leadership to influence lifecycle optimisation decisions

Innovation & Change Leadership

• Lead portfolio-wide change initiatives for M&E and building fabric system optimisation and modernisation
• Champion innovation and emerging technology adoption across the portfolio
• Drive standardisation and best practice adoption across all portfolio assets
• Drive strategic change management for major technical solution implementations

Team & Resource Management

• Strategic oversight of directly employed technical solutions specialists and major outsourced partnerships
• Influence and direct technical solution strategy across Senior and Lifecycle Technical Managers
• Lead strategic technical assessments for high-value solution investments

Key Strategic Interfaces

• Lifecycle Director on technical solution strategy development and investment recommendations
• Business Unit Directors on strategic technical solution briefings and investment approvals
• Senior Technical Managers on strategic solution implementation and change leadership
• External Partners on strategic relationship management with key technology providers
