EQUANS is looking for an Accounts Payable Team Member to be based in our Shared Service Centre, Quorum Business Park, Newcastle, NE12 8BU on a permanent basis. This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary £14,040 per annum and benefits package. 

 

Experience would be desirable, but do not worry if you have no experience of working in Accounts Payable, as full training will be provided.

Working in our dynamic and buzzing office, you’ll be part of the Accounts Payable team within the Procure to Pay function in a close-knit, supportive team that values flexibility, collaboration, and well-being. The role involves the processing of invoices, supplier account reconciliation, helping resolve any invoice disputes, exceptions, and ensuring goods/services are receipted on a timely basis.

What will you deliver? 

    • Point of contact for procure to pay queries.
    • Invoice processing.
    • Supplier statement reconciliations.
    • Internal/external supplier queries.
    • Schedule and process payments.
    • Reconciliations and period end close activities.

Who are we looking for? 

 

    • Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
    • Able to use Microsoft Office.
    • Problem solving, analytical and customer service skills.
    • Good planning and administration skills.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Have a thirst for learning with a positive attitude.

This role includes a Basic DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
