Equans is looking for an Operational Administrator to support our growing EV solutions business in the UK. This role will support the effective Administration and commercial operation of the business. The role will support the Operational Administration team in helping to ensure that customer accounts are managed effectively through the provision of timely and accurate reporting, reconciliation and invoicing. That all public ChargePoint’s are advertised correctly and promptly, and that all charger information is continuously updated.
This role will also provide wider support where required to ensure continuous business improvement, looking to enable the improvement of customer management and processes as the business moves through rapid growth.
What will you deliver?
- Customer Accounts – reporting for third party customers. Prepare reports and keep/update log of reporting and client share payments and balances. Ensure client share balances are processed for payment. Process invoicing to ensure invoices are raised for completed jobs, for account renewals and that this is reconciled against Chargers on Genie (Internal System)
- Sales Support – all administration tasks to be completed quickly and efficiently to ensure accurate reporting and up-to-date records.

- Audit of deferred income schedule (data and maintenance income) versus Genie – update Genie on contracts
- Reconciliation of customer payments across systems
- Debtor Management – Liaise with Sales and Finance admin team
- Respond to customer / supplier queries as appropriate
- Update all ChargePoint’s on Genie with purchased products
- Update all public registers with newly commissioned charger information
- Create O&M and Welcome packs to be sent to Clients at the point of commissioning.
- Facilitate handover meetings between the Sales teams and Project managers, and ensure all Administration tasks are completed during this process.
- All work completed on time, to a high standard
- Delivery of internal and external reporting as required
- Support ad hoc commercial tasks as required including insurance claim processing and data reporting and management
Who are we looking for?
- Strong Microsoft Office skills – particularly Excel
- Experience of using customer and accounting software including SAP
- Experience of managing customers with finance or accounts queries
- Experience of gathering and presenting data
- Proven ability to work on own initiative and within a team
- Strong communication skills
- Strong numeracy with basic financial/commercial understanding
- Highly organised
- Ability to adapt to new processes and requirements
- Awareness of the sustainable transport sector / electric vehicles
- Experience of working in a cross-functional team
- Demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving
