Equans is looking for an M&E Operative to join our team based at Central Middlesex University Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 

What will you deliver?

  • Apply relevant trade skills to undertaking scheduled planned, reactive maintenance and new installation tasks or anything else which may be within reason as directed by the Management

  • Maintain appropriate qualifications and undertake training so to take on CP responsibilities, and up-to-date trade knowledge, as may be required for the safe and efficient performance of duties

  • Immediately report any potentially dangerous situations to the Management and record Hazards and Near Misses in line with Management instruction.
  • Assist with ordering materials and services as required to enable first time fixes. Escort contractors as and when required
  • Take on the role of Water Hygiene – Competent Person and legionella awareness training, Utilising plumbing skills, carry out water system maintenance on taps, showers, TMV’s and other system components as part of a PPM schedule

Who are you?

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing, Water, Gas or Mechanical

  • A facilities management background

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
