Equans is looking for an Connect UK Solution Analyst (Source to Pay) to join our team in Newcastle on a 18month secondment basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Connect UK Solution Analyst will be a member of the Connect UK programme team and will report to the Workstream Lead for Source to Pay. The role holder will be an active member of their workstream team, with a primary responsibility to utilise their subject matter expertise to support design & delivery of the right business solution for Equans within their workstream scope.
Activities will be varied but will include process, data, system design and testing, system security and authorisations, reporting and KPIs. A broad mix of skills and experience are required to enable the role holder to support the wide range of activities they and the wider team are involved in.
The post holder will work closely with colleagues within their workstream, the SLS ERP’s team for their area and the Equans Solution Architect, IT Business Analysts and Data Migration Lead, along with business representatives.
This hybrid working role is for a period of at least 18 months.
Internal appointments will be offered on a secondment basis.
What will you deliver?
- Contributing to the design & delivery of all their workstream’s elements of the Connect UK programme (including process, data, system design, security & authorisations, reporting & KPIs)
- Utilising their subject matter expertise to contribute to design and implementation
- Contributing to the definition of the reporting and analytics solution in their respective area, understanding the key reports and KPIs required to deliver the business solution
- Identifying issues and risks in their workstream, raising any on a timely basis and supporting mitigation and close down, where appropriate
- Playing an active role in the delivery of design workshops, sprint validation and playbacks
- Contributing to backlog development and status reporting for their workstream
- Complying with standards and procedures to track and measure delivery / progression in relation to their workstream
- Co-ordinating data cleansing activities for their workstream including giving direction to data analysts in conjunction with the Data Migration Lead

Who are we looking for?
- As a subject matter expert for their workstream the post holder will be a seasoned professional with a deep knowledge in their area of expertise (e.g. systems specialist)
- Working knowledge of how the end to end business processes for their area of expertise are applied within Equans
- A high-level of IT knowledge with experience in core enterprise systems related to their area of expertise
- Strong analytical skills and ability to comfortably work with complex data sets
- Willingness to take ownership of issues through to resolution
- Self-starter with ability to work under pressure, to prioritise work, and to adhere to tight deadlines while maintaining quality
