Equans is looking for an IT Delivery Lead to join our team in any of our UK offices on a temporary basis (12 month secondment). This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
The primary responsibility of the role is to facilitate the development of multiple teams as well as improve their ways of working and agile mindset using pragmatic governance. The Delivery Lead facilitates both agile as well as waterfall events with the aim to remove impediments, provides coaching to team members, and ensures timely and accurate delivery of the roadmap items. Using agile principles, values, and ceremonies. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting initiatives across diverse business sectors and be aligned to a portfolio stream. This role is a key member of our delivery team, bridging the gap between business and technical to help Equans IT deliver digital transformation.
This role reports into the IT Infrastructure, Modern Workplace, and Security Portfolio lead.

What will you deliver?
- Coordinate, facilitate, and create visibility of the overall progress, dependency, issues, and risks across the various projects.
- Guide one or more teams working on projects, work packages and Products.
- Monitor the delivery flow of teams and ensure timely and accurate execution of the roadmap items, while maintaining inter-team alignment.
- Promote Agile principles in the teams and stakeholders and drive process improvements.
- Coach team members and business leaders.
- Remove impediments and distractions to optimize teams’ performance.
- Support agile team transformation and encourage teams to adopt agile values.
- Capture and report team performance metrics.
- Oversee daily activities of the delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed.
- Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements.
- Ensure that team maintains a high level of competence and operational excellence.
- Report delivery status to our customers and develop required delivery documentations.
- Work with the teams to ensure critical decisions are taken to meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off, ensure practical completion of project milestones, control project scope, and mitigate risk.
- Oversee implementation and ensure all elements are considered and factored into the delivery plan including build, testing, training, analytics, release planning, business readiness and optimization to deliver the client’s end goals.
- Make sure projects are appropriately resourced in terms of people, skills, and expertise.
- Manage all project reporting, providing transparency and updates to client stakeholders and senior management through project dashboards, status reports and financial tracking reports.
- Participating in Quality Reviews.
- Collaborating with project leadership teams and change control committee(s) to monitor dependencies and schedule impacts as they relate to project deployments.
- Supporting IT leadership with issue, risk, and defect resolution/escalations as appropriate.

Who are we looking for?
- Educated to Degree level and would be advantageous in a numerate (Mathematics, Engineering or Scientific) or Computer Science subject. Will have or working towards a BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or similar.
- Agile qualifications essential (Scrum, Product Owner, SAFe).
- Project Management qualifications.
- A clear, logical and rigorous thinker.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, with experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
- A confident self-starter with the drive to find solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
