Equans is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in strengthening the UK and Ireland Marketing and External Communications function’s ability to support business growth. 

This is a hands-on marketing role focused on proactive growth marketing, campaign development and delivery. The post-holder will work closely with the Head of Marketing and External Communications, business development teams, divisional stakeholders and colleagues across the wider marketing and communications function to translate growth priorities into clear, targeted marketing activity.

The post-holder will manage campaigns, while supporting priority sectors, services, clients and growth opportunities through clear briefs, compelling messaging, coordinated specialist input and effective business development follow-up. 

The Marketing Manager will work as part of a peer team, collaborating with colleagues across PR, content, events, employer brand, digital, social media and creative delivery to ensure campaigns are planned, joined up, measurable and aligned to business priorities. 

What will you deliver?

  • Develop and deliver proactive marketing campaigns, alongside the Head of Marketing & Communications that support Equans growth priorities across selected sectors, services, propositions and client groups. 
  • Translate business objectives into clear campaign briefs, audience plans, propositions, messages, channel plans and measurable activity. 
  • Manage planned growth marketing activity where the requirement includes longer-term audience development, targeted email activity, digital engagement, in-person and online engagement, account-based activity or nurture campaigns. 
  • Work with business development and operational stakeholders to understand target markets, client challenges, commercial priorities and upcoming opportunities. 
  • Develop a strong understanding of target audiences, buying groups, customer challenges and sector-specific drivers. 
  • Work with SMEs, BD teams and operational leads to shape clear narratives and campaign messages. 
  • Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across selected channels, including email, LinkedIn, website, landing pages, paid digital, content, events, roundtables, webinars and agency-supported activity. 
  • Coordinate campaign activity with colleagues across external communications, brand and digital, creative design, events and content to ensure work is joined up and delivered to a high standard. 
  • Ensure event activity supports wider campaign objectives and business priorities. 
  • Measure event participation, engagement and outcomes and use insight to improve future activity.

Who are we looking for?

  • An ability to build effective working relationships with business development, commercial, operational, strategy and divisional stakeholders. 
  • Proven stakeholder management experience
  • Influence without relying on formal authority, working collaboratively across a peer team and wider matrix organisation. 
  • Strong B2B marketing experience, ideally in a complex environment. 
  • Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns linked to business growth, client engagement, lead generation or pipeline development. 
  • Strong understanding of audience planning, proposition development, messaging, segmentation and campaign journeys. 
  • Experience working with BD or sales teams to support commercial priorities, opportunity development or account-based activity. 
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, audience-led marketing content. 
  • Good understanding of digital marketing channels, including LinkedIn, website content, landing pages, paid social, email and campaign reporting. 
  • A practical understanding of how marketing supports growth, including awareness, engagement, lead nurturing, meetings, pipeline influence and relationship development. 
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, priorities and deadlines. 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to move work from idea to delivery.
